ENGLISH (see French article version below – voir l’article en français ci-dessous) The Pantheon of Sports and Martial Arts (www.ChampionsPantheon.com ) was founded in 2007 in Tokyo by Carl Emery. This foundation aims to promote ethics and morality in martial arts and combat sports. The Pantheon of Sports and Martial Arts also promotes actions to unify federations like, for example, its initiative of the World Kickboxing Forum where the main kickboxing federations gathered around the same table to try to find points of agreement and synergies,  for the first time in the history of this sport. The Pantheon of Sports and Martial Arts is creating global site for competitions’ and fight’s results ( www.KickboxingRec.com). This website will become a tool at the service of the credibility kickboxing sports urgently need! Very famous sportsmen have already been inducted into the Pantheon of Sports and Martial Arts. Some have even been named to represent their sport in the Board of the Pantheon, like : Marvelous Marvin Hagler, Fred Royers, General Santiago Sanchis, Bill Wallace, Isaias Dueñas, Jeff Smith, Joe Lewis, Jean-Yves Thériault, Jérôme Le Banner… In December 2011, the Pantheon has honored the very first four kickboxing champions (1974 – Los Angeles. These fantastic four champions were altogether for the first time in 37 years! Unfortunately, Joe Lewis died a few months after this memorable ceremony. « I will never forget this very special moment » said Carl Emery. « There are certain events in the life of a man who remain etched in our minds and in our hearts as moments of happiness and bliss. This ceremony was without a doubt one of those magical moments. This year the Board of the Pantheon has decided to nominate four other pioneers this year, in the occasion of the World Martial Arts Games. Pioneers in Sport Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts: Bertrand Amoussou, Ernie Boggs, Ross Iannoccaro and Remco Pardoel, and I am very pleased and honoured that they all accepted to be inducted! » We will shortly post online their amazing biographies. I will never forget this very special moment » said Carl Emery. « There are certain events in the life of a man who remain etched in our minds and in our hearts as moments of happiness and bliss. This ceremony was without a doubt one of those magical moments.
